It\u003cbr\u003eis generally mounted on the vehicle axle midway between\u003cbr\u003ethe two actuators connected to it.\u003cbr\u003eIn the standard (Refer to Figure 1) QRN valve, a flat circular\u003cbr\u003ediaphragm is installed between the nonmetallic upper body\u003cbr\u003eand stamped steel lower body. An o-ring seals the two body\u003cbr\u003ehalves which are held together using four 1\/4\" machine\u003cbr\u003escrews and flange nuts.\u003cbr\u003eIn its standard configuration, the QRN valve is supplied with\u003cbr\u003ea 1 psi (6.9 kPa) maximum differential. For example, with\u003cbr\u003esupply pressure at 10 psi (68.9 kPa) delivery pressure is 9\u003cbr\u003epsi (61.8 kPa). Higher differential pressures are available\u003cbr\u003efor special applications and are obtained by the addition\u003cbr\u003eof a spring and diaphragm follower to the standard QRN\u003cbr\u003evalve.
