Fuel Injection Pump 12731367 is a crucial component in many diesel engines (and some older gasoline engines). It’s responsible for delivering the right amount of fuel, at the right pressure, and at the right time to each cylinder for efficient combustion.

  • Fuel Delivery: Low-pressure fuel from the tank enters the injection pump.

  • Pressurization: The pump uses internal plungers or pistons to build pressure (often 15,000–30,000 psi or more).

  • Timing Control: The pump sends fuel to each injector in sync with the engine’s camshaft position.

  • Injection: Fuel is injected directly into the combustion chamber at the perfect moment for ignition.

Signs of Faulty 12731367:

  • Hard starting or no start condition.

  • Rough idle or engine misfires.

  • Loss of power, especially under load.

  • Excessive smoke (white, black, or blue).

  • Poor fuel economy.

  • Fuel leaks or strong diesel smell.

  • Check Engine Light (on electronically controlled systems).
