5456951 | Genuine Cummins® Turbocharger With Actuator

• Weight: 83 lbs
• Fit for: Cummins

• Functions:

  • Boost pressure generation

  • Improved fuel efficiency: Turbocharger can also improve fuel efficiency by allowing the engine to operate at a lower RPM while still producing the desired power output.

  • Increased power and torque: By supplying the engine with more air, the turbocharger allows for more fuel to be burned, resulting in a significant increase in power and torque output.

  • Reduced emissions: By improving fuel efficiency and combustion efficiency, turbocharger can help to reduce emissions of harmful pollutants, such as nitrogen oxides (NOx) and particulate matter (PM).

  • Actuator control: The actuator is a device that controls the wastegate, a valve that regulates the amount of exhaust gases bypassing the turbine. By adjusting the wastegate position, the actuator can control the boost pressure generated by the turbocharger. This allows for more precise control of engine power and emissions.
