7099620C1 | Genuine International® Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor

• Weight: 3 lbs
• Fit for: Navistar, International

• Functions:

  • Fault detection: The sensor can also be used to detect potential issues with the fuel system, such as leaks, blockages, or pump malfunctions.

  • Pressure measurement: The sensor continuously measures the fuel pressure, providing accurate and real-time data to the engine control module (ECM).

  • Fuel injection control: The ECM uses the pressure readings from the sensor to precisely control the amount of fuel injected into the engine cylinders. This ensures optimal engine performance, fuel efficiency, and emissions control.

  • Emissions control: The accurate measurement of fuel rail pressure is crucial for maintaining proper emissions levels. By ensuring that the correct amount of fuel is injected into the engine, the sensor helps to prevent excessive emissions of pollutants.
