An ABS Anti-Lock Brake Hydraulic Unit DT43-2C405-FC is the mechanical part of a vehicle’s anti-lock braking system that controls the brake fluid pressure going to each wheel during braking. It works together with the ABS Control Module (the electronic “brain”) to prevent wheel lock-up and maintain traction when braking hard.
The hydraulic unit’s job is to regulate hydraulic brake pressure in real time — increasing, holding, or reducing it — so the wheels keep rotating instead of skidding.
