1. What is it?
Part is a threshold-activated electromechanical pressure switch. Threaded directly into an oil, fuel, or air gallery, it continuously monitors system pressure and opens or closes an internal electrical circuit once fluid pressure crosses a predetermined set point.

Signs of Faulty
