  • Wheel speed sensing: The ABS modulator valve receives information about the rotational speed of each wheel from wheel speed sensors. 
  • Stability enhancement: By preventing wheel lockup, the ABS modulator valve helps to maintain vehicle stability and control, especially during emergency braking or slippery road conditions.  
  • Brake pressure control: Based on the wheel speed data, the valve controls the pressure applied to each brake caliper. If a wheel starts to lock up, the valve reduces the brake pressure to that wheel, allowing it to continue rotating and maintaining traction.
