LK3833 | Genuine Bendix® Air Brake Compressor

• Weight: 14 lbs
• Fit for: Kenworth, Peterbilt
• Functions:

  • Air generation: The compressor draws in ambient air and compresses it to a high pressure. This compressed air is then stored in air tanks.

  • Brake actuation: When the brake pedal is pressed, compressed air is released from the air tanks and flows to the brake cylinders, activating the brakes.

  • System operation: Compressed air is also used to power various other systems within the vehicle, such as the horn, door locks, and suspension components.
